Influenza A virus subtype H1N1, also known as A(H1N1), is a subtype of influenzavirus A and the most common cause of influenza (flu) in humans. Some strains of H1N1 are endemic in humans, including the strain(s) responsible for the 1918 flu pandemic which killed 50–100 million people worldwide.it spreads by one person having the (swine flu) coughing and spreading the flu to another. We should not sit and wait for the Government to tell us what to do.We should realise that, unlike Sars (severe acute respiratory syndrome), we can catch Influenza A anywhere once it lands on our shores.Citizens in other countries like Japan and Hong Kong are taking the necessary precautions themselves without their governments telling them to do so.I dont think taking our temperature in class is effective because the main thing about influenza a is not about the temperature it is Swine flu viruses that cause the disease in pigs very rarely affect humans. Usually, swine flu spreads to humans if they have had direct contact with infected pigs. However there have been cases of human-to-human spread in other countries.i can stop influenza a by covering my mouth while sneezing or coughing.
